OHIM’s new RCD E-Filing service received over 140 applications in the first week of operation. The feedback from OHIM customers about the new service since it went on full release is very positive. The application offers major improvements in ease of use, simplicity and speed.

The increased speed of registration, which is one of the key advantages of the new system, has taken some users by surprise, with some designs currently being registered the same day. As this new faster pace of registration does not allow time for later "re-thinks", users are advised to make sure their applications contain the final and correct details before submission.
