The High-Level Forum on Intellectual Property is jointly held by SIPO, Ministry of Public Security and General Administration of Customs in Beijing on April 24. SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu attends the opening ceremony and delivers a speech.

 

In his speech, Mr. Tian points out that the issuance and implementation of the Compendium on China National IP Strategy indicate China's IP cause has entered a new historical phase of development. To cope with the new situations of the international financial crisis, we should make energetic efforts to promote the implementation of the IP strategy with focus on strengthening the IP legal environment and constructing the capacity of administrative management this year.

 

Mr. Tian stresses that Chinese Government attaches great importance to IPR protection and makes "Strengthening IPR Protection" one of the five key points of the national IP strategy in the Compendium on China National IP Strategy.
